MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Brief Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop machine designs and drawings according to customers’ specifications.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of Technicians including assembly and fitting units, components and parts precision tooling to build special-purpose machinery, robotic work-cells and factory automation projects.
  • Plan, organize, co-ordinate and execute projects and manage resources in a timely manner to meet customers’ schedules and requirements.
  • Review and discuss technical requirements with customers, electrical engineers, programmers, fabricators, machinists and other parties.
  • Perform engineering calculations to determine and achieve the appropriate technical tolerances, dimensions and specifications relevant to the machine tools and designs.

Academic Qualifications & Work Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years experience in mechanical engineering design, preferably in factory automation or system integration environment.

Other Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCAD is essential
  • Travel across the region will be required on a need basis
  • The individual must be a team player and possess good communications skill.

PROJECT MANAGER

Brief Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of project management including on-time delivery, performance to customers’ expectations and cost management.
  • Liaise with customers to fully understand their requirements and deliver to the customers’ satisfaction.
  • Interface with various departments to ensure all deliverables including timeliness, budget cost and technical specifications are met.
  • Plan, coordinate and monitor project related activities from the receipt of the customers’ orders to the installation and final acceptance at the customers’ sites. Alert the Engineering Manager of any new requirements or developments throughout the project duration.
  • Serve as the key customer contact throughout the duration of the project and until the completion of the warranty period.
  • Communicate the progress of projects to affected parties and be proactive in identifying and coordinating actions needed to bring the project back on track, where necessary.
  • Review the customers’ orders and ensure that the specifications are the same as those agreed on during the project proposal stage.
  • Conduct regular project meetings with internal employees and customers and ensure matters discussed are documented and communicated.
  • Coordinate the concurrent development of design and build activities.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure orders for required materials are placed and expedited.

Academic Qualifications & Work Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or equivalent specializing in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Controls Engineering.
  • PMI certification is required.
  • At least 5 years experience working with multi-disciplined project teams, preferably in an automation or system integration environment.
  • Must have practical working knowledge of robots, PLCs, instrumentations or other machine control packages, sensors and pneumatics.
  • Preference will be given to those who have good manufacturing or process engineering background, a superior mechanical aptitude and proven trouble-shooting skills.

  • Must be customer-oriented and can work effectively with customers.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER

Brief Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts Payable including handling vendor invoices, employees’ expense claims, managing vendors and liaising with internal and external customers across the APAC region on AP related matters.
  • Supervise, co-ordinate and lead the activities of a team of Accounts Payable Specialists.
  • Perform month-end activities including the reconciliation of the AP sub-ledger, recording timely, accurate accruals and be proactive in analysing open PO items and outstanding AP related issues.
  • Instil and ensure that strong internal controls are implemented, maintained and complied with at all times by all the appropriate parties.
  • Lead in the ERP systems upgrade implementation, particularly for Accounts Payable and related modules and ensure a strong interface exists between related modules.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Logistics and Receiving Departments to achieve smooth, timely and accurate processing of receipts and payments throughout the operational chain.
  • Support the financial & management reporting activities including preparation and analysis of regular and ad-hoc schedules and reports.
  • Participate in Finance-related projects, as assigned.

Academic Qualifications & Work Experience:

  • Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification such as ACCA or equivalent.
Those with a Diploma in Accountancy or who have attained ACCA Level 2 pass grade will also be considered provided they have all the other relevant experience.
  • Specialization in Accounts Payable with a strong appreciation of General Ledger.
  • 5 years experience working in Shared Services environment is essential.
  • Must have the experience in handling high volume suppliers’ invoice and employees’ expense claims across multiple APAC countries. Exposure to at least 4 to 5 of the following countries is needed – Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam and Malaysia.

Other Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, preferably with experience in implementation.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Must be customer focused and exhibit a strong sense of responsibility, urgency and integrity.
  • Willing to accept and adapt to changes and challenges and is proactive in seeking improvements to current business processes.
  • The individual is expected to operate very independently while maintaining a strong link to the Director and APAC Controller and with relevant parties in the other countries which he or she is supporting.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Brief Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide reception services including taking calls, receiving and attending to visitors.

SIGNAGE GRAPHICS DESIGNER

Brief Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute high value-added creative designs to Signage and Environmental Branding Programme.
  • Liaise closely with the customers on their requirements throughout the entire process.
  • Visualize and comprehend 3D space parameters of existing Architectural sites and Architectural drawings of proposed and under-development sites, map the sites and propose signage types and locations.
  • Work with Architectural drawings, using AutoCad files and develop proposed signage plans based on the same.
  • Extend an identity system to different sign types.
  • Graphically represent different sign types for presentation, tender documentation and construction.
  • Liaise with vendors and fabricators to develop samples, swatches and prototypes and direct and supervise contractors / vendors through production and installation based on drawings prepared.

Academic Qualifications & Work Experience:

PRODUCTION LEADER
(Retail & Environmental Branding)

Brief Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute, oversee, extend and ‘bring to life’ works and design intent drawings, ensuring visual quality, 3D renderings and design practicality are considered.
  • Assist the team in Retail & Environmental Branding including project monitoring, scheduling, management, technical detailing and specifications.
  • Coordinate and liaise with customers, suppliers, contractors and the team to ensure timely, cost-effective and high quality delivery to the customers.
  • Provide supervision over the team.
  • Keep abreast of developments in new materials, fabrication techniques, suppliers and contractors in the signage environmental branding industry.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with customers and be proactive in the development of a smooth running and efficient creative studio.
  • Supervise and maintain a job filing system for Design and Artwork including ensuring proper backups are in place.
  • Work closely with management on best practice procedures and formats.
  • Assist the Signage and Environmental Brand Managers, Design Director and the team in the development and preparation of presentation materials and timelines.
  • Follow up on new business leads and working closely with the Managing / Creative Director, Department Heads and Design Directors to increase sales for the Retail and Environment Department and other service areas for the company.

Academic Qualifications & Work Experience:

  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design.
  • At least 2 years of project management working experience and proven capability, preferably in the Retail and Environmental Branding outfit.
